Homemade Italian Sausage

Italian Sausage is perfectly seasoned & so flavorful. Toss into soups, stews, or pasta sauce for a delicious addition!

Ingredients :

  • 1 pound ground pork or beef or turkey
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon fennel seeds or ½ teaspoon ground fennel
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon dried rosemary crushed
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • ⅛ teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • ⅛ teaspoon red pepper flakes or to taste

Directions :

  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Using your hands, mix until well combined and the seasonings are evenly distributed.
  • Cover & refrigerate at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours.
  • To brown the sausage, add it to a skillet and cook over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon until no pink remains. Drain any fat.
