A thickie is just a heartier version of a smoothie, so it makes a great breakfast choice. This one is loaded with spinach, kale, banana and rolled oats
Ingredients :
a large handful spinach
a large handful kale
1 large banana
1-2 tbsp maple syrup
(or other plant milk) 150ml, plus a little extra oat milk
3 tbsp rolled oats
1 tbsp flax seeds
to serve ice
Directions :
Put all of the ingredients except the ice into a blender or food processor and whizz until smooth, adding a little extra oat milk if it’s too thick to drink. Pour the thickie into two glasses with ice and drink straight away.
